In your welcome letter you should have received an IP number for the server where your site will reside. Until your domain name begins resolving to that location, you can use:

http://255.255.255.111/~username

Of course, replace the IP Number in the example above and replace your actual username with the sample above. Be sure, however, that you include the "~" tilde sign before your actual username.
